Dory M.Phiri (b.2001, Malawi) is a Singapore-based artist graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the arts. Phiri's artworks explore different aspects of identity, ranging from the history of slavery to dealing with childhood trauma. Using hair, African patterns, warm and cool colors, and found materials, she questions what identity is and how we see ourselves to identify the way we do.
